New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 16 game

Jalen Hurts might be sick with more than flu-like symptoms as he carries the burden of losing three straight games.

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-4) return home to host the New York Giants (5-9) in one of three Christmas Day matchups in Week 16.

The quarterback wasn't able to carry his team to a win in last week's primetime matchup, a 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He threw two interceptions and he and All-Pro center Jason Kelce committed false start penalties that didn't help their momentum. It was the first time Matt Patricia was calling plays on defense and the squad allowed 297 yards.

The Giants' freight train was halted as Tommy DeVito was handed a 24-6 loss at the hands of the New Orleans Saints to snap his three-game win streak. The rookie was sacked seven times in the matchup. It was the Giants' fourth game this season without a touchdown. Saquon Barkley had a season-low nine carries for 14 yards and was only in the game on half the snaps.

Will the Eagles be able to rebound in front of the Philly faithful? Or will the Giants get a major road win?

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 28, Giants 10

The Giants came crashing down from their little run with Tommy DeVito. The Eagles, frankly, are a mess on both sides of the ball. This is exactly the type of get-right game that Philadelphia needs. Mostly, the Eagles just have to be crisper, pay attention to details and return to the things that made them so dangerous.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 27, Giants 17

The Eagles have lost three straight games since beating the Chiefs and Bills. Jalen Hurts called out the entire Eagles team after a tough loss in Seattle. Expect the Eagles to respond against an inferior Giants team with their out set of problems.

Safid Deen: Eagles 31, Giants 14

After losing three in a row, the Eagles exorcize some demons and blow out the Giants. Tommy DeVito will be dropping his appearance fees after this one.

Victoria Hernandez: Eagles 24, Giants 17

Nobody thought the Eagles would be on a three-game losing skid at such an important time of the season. Returning home and playing the lowly Giants, whose own bubble was burst last week, should be the right concoction for Jalen Hurts and company to get back in the winning column.

Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 24, Giants 12

The cure to a three-game losing streak? Getting the Giants at home. Philadelphia’s offense shows signs of life while New York gets thrown around by a defense wanting to assert its dominance at home.
